P J O Brien Irish Pub

The food is so authentic that you will think you are in Killarney.  This original Irish pub serves the traditional fare that you would find at almost any pub in Ireland.  The portions are generous and there is a taste of home cooking in every meal.

The pub is famous for a large and well attended bar with the best of beers and talk. There are eleven beers on tap and the wooden bar is lively on most nights.

It also is known for food.  There's  homemade cocktail sausages, which are served with traditional Brown Sauce, and for the corned beef and cabbage dinners which are the best in the city. Irish stew braised in Guinness and Atlantic Salmon with leeks are some of the pub favorites. Regular fare includes an Angus hamburger or strip loin steak. The Irish breakfast served for brunch comes with black pudding, a delicacy known throughout Ireland.
Live entertainment plays Celtic or contemporary music each Friday and Saturday evening.

Upstairs is the Fireplace Bar, a private party room that can hold 50 people, which is also open to the public every St Patricks Day. The downstairs pub can also be rented for special occasions - please call for details. 416-815-7562

There is a large parking lot across the street and the pub is within easy walking distance of the King subway station.
