ONTARIO DOCK DOGS
"Go take a flying leap!". Have you ever said that to someone? Well here we give it a new twist. It's a new fun event from DockDogs that turns fetching into an extreme sport.
Your dog takes a flying leap off a dock into a 40 foot pool in pursuit of a floatable toy that he or she must retrieve. Any dog can take part. There are rules, of course – you can’t throw or push Rover into the water. But you can run the length of the dock with your dog – or you can throw the toy from the edge. Your dog is judged on speed and distance.
It's a major crowd pleaser. So, if your dog is in the swim and is not too wet behind the ears, this may be the contest where he or she can create waves.

WOOFSTOCK FASHION SHOW
Shih Tzu's in silk. Chi-chi Chihuahuas. Jack Russels in jumpsuits. Fashion forward pooches of all sizes and pedigree put on the dog, showcasing the ultimate in canine couture. Strutting the "dogwalk" the lively four-footed mannequins will sport selections from the latest doggie fashion lines, all available at Woofstock.
Perhaps your pet has the dogged determination it takes to be Canada's next top model. We will be scouting for new faces for this year's show, so send us a photo of your dog along with a brief pitch as to why you think he or she has the qualities of a top model. Here's a tip: bolting from the stage with the designer's creations still on your back is not a good trait! Nor is sitting - or lying - down on the job.
