Old Town Toronto - Live Theatre Stages

The Toronto theatre district is known for the big shows like: Rent, Mama Mia and Lord of the Rings, but in Old Town we have 9 stages for live theatre.  We have theatre tickets for shows in several price ranges.  From musicals and live concerts to experimental theatre and dance, we have more shows than King St W. and Yonge St.  The Sony Centre, St. Lawrence Centre, Bluma Appel and Jane Mallet Theatre, the Canadian Opera Company’s Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Opera Centre, the Berkeley Street Theatre, the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People, the Young Theatres at the Distillery.  The University of Toronto’s  Alumni Theatre and five movie screens at the Rainbow Cinema playing first run films, art films and children’s movies.  Explore our theatres on line.  Check the news rollers for new shows, stand up comedy and music downtown.
